Except in cases where the Government of Nepal has issued a special order, a diplomatic visa will be issued to the person and their family members with a diplomatic or official passport issued in any country and recommended by the relevant diplomatic mission. Diplomatic and official visas will be issued on the basis of reciprocity, and their duration may be extended by more than once for the duration of the assignment in Nepal.

Diplomatic and official visas are issued free of charge.

Requirements

• Duly completed Visa Application Form (click here to fill the form) mailed to: visa@embajadadenepal.es
• Original passport with at least 6 months validity and a photocopy of the identification page of the passport. The passport must contain at least 2 blank visa pages.
• A Note Verbale issued by the Department of State, diplomatic mission, international organization or equivalent offices with the diplomatic visa application, clearly indicating the purpose and period of the visit.
